What We Do Matters

Who We Are

Mission Statement - The Integrity Center exists to restore lives, families, and communities impacted by incarceration. We empower incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals, support their families, and provide meaningful services to victims of crime. Through structured reentry support, victim advocacy, and restorative justice practices, we address harm at every level, promoting accountability, healing, and reconciliation. Our work is grounded in the belief that restoration is possible, family integrity is essential, and every person deserves the opportunity to rebuild, thrive, and succeed.

Vision Statement - A future where individuals, families, and communities impacted by incarceration are restored—where victims receive meaningful support, accountability is embraced, and restorative justice creates pathways for healing, reconciliation, and lasting change.

What We Do -The Integrity Center delivers holistic, hands-on support to individuals, families, and victims impacted by incarceration. Our work is rooted in restoration, addressing the harm caused by incarceration while creating pathways for healing, accountability, and long-term stability. We provide comprehensive reentry support that equips formerly incarcerated individuals with the tools necessary to successfully reintegrate into society, including employment readiness, financial literacy, and life skills development. At the same time, we offer dedicated services for families navigating the challenges of separation, reunification, and rebuilding trust. Equally important, we center victims by providing support, resources, and access to restorative justice opportunities that prioritize healing, voice, and resolution. Through guided restorative practices, we create space for accountability, understanding, and meaningful reconciliation where appropriate. Our programs are intentionally designed to strengthen the entire family unit. We work with youth, parents, and individuals at all stages of transition, helping them manage stress, navigate complex life challenges, and set achievable goals. By combining education, support, and structured guidance, we empower participants to rebuild their lives, restore relationships, and create sustainable futures.

Founders

Baron and I met as children, growing up next door to one another. What began as a simple neighborly connection evolved into friendship, then into a deep and lasting bond, best friends, partners, and ultimately husband and wife. During our teenage years, a neighborhood shooting changed our lives forever. In an act of instinctive courage, Baron shielded me, and we were both struck by the same bullet. His bravery saved my life, and from that moment forward, our connection was rooted not only in love but in purpose.

Baron served 23 years in prison. Throughout that time, I remained steadfast, raising our children, supporting his growth, and standing beside him through every challenge. Despite the distance, Baron remained an intentional father, finding meaningful ways to stay present in our children’s lives, from clipping coupons to creating study charts to support their education. Our faith carried us, and today, with Baron home, our family stands restored and united.

We are blessed with five children and twelve grandchildren, all of whom cherish their papa. During his incarceration, restorative justice became a turning point in Baron’s life. It gave him the space to reflect, take accountability, and grow in ways that traditional systems often do not allow. That experience not only transformed him but also laid the foundation for our work today.

Since his release, Baron has become a powerful voice for change, advocating against mass incarceration, working alongside organizations such as WISDOM and EXPO, and co-founding The Integrity Center. Together, we are committed to advancing restoration through reentry support, family-centered services, victim advocacy, and restorative justice practices. We believe that true justice must create space for healing, accountability, and reconciliation—for everyone impacted.

Our mission is rooted in breaking cycles of incarceration and restoring individuals, families, and communities. We are equally committed to supporting victims of crime through holistic, trauma-informed services that honor their voices and promote healing.  At the same time, we walk alongside individuals returning home, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity, stability, and purpose.

At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to restoring integrity within individuals, within families, and within our communities. Our journey has shown us that transformation is possible, restoration is powerful, and when given the opportunity, people can heal, grow, and create lasting change one life at a time.
