Baron and I met as kids living next door to each other. Our connection grew from neighbors to friends, best friends, then boyfriend and girlfriend, until we finally became husband and wife. A neighborhood shooting during our teenage years drew us even closer—Baron instinctively shielded me, and we were both struck by the same bullet. His bravery saved my life.
Baron served 23 years in prison, and throughout that time, I stood by his side, raising our children and supporting his educational pursuits. Despite the distance, Baron remained deeply involved in our children's lives, clipping coupons and creating charts to help with their homework. Our love and faith kept us strong, and now that he’s home, our family is whole once more.
Baron has always been my greatest supporter, encouraging my educational and business endeavors as we pursue our dreams and serve God faithfully. We are blessed with five children and eleven grandchildren, all of whom adore their papa. Since his release, Baron has become a powerful advocate, speaking out on mass incarceration, collaborating with organizations like WISDOM and EXPO, and founding The Integrity Center. We are both committed to being a force for positive change, refusing to stay silent in the face of injustice.
Our mission is clear: to dismantle the education-to-prison pipeline and end the cycle of generational incarceration. We are dedicated to breaking these patterns of hardship, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to build a brighter future. Through our advocacy, support programs, and unwavering commitment, we strive to create a society where every person can thrive and contribute positively to their communities.
We are devoted to making a difference for those who have worked hard to transform their lives during incarceration. Our authentic support and guidance help individuals successfully reintegrate into society after their release from prison. We are also committed to providing holistic recovery programs for victims, addressing the physical, emotional, and social aspects of healing to help them reintegrate into society.
At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to restoring the integrity of the family, the community, and each individual. Together, we are making a difference, one life at a time.
